Join this Singles
Weekend to San Francisco to see the most
breathtaking natural views, tour its varied
neighborhoods, and visit famous landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge. From the
Embarcadero and bustling Chinatown to the hippie haven of the Haight, San
Francisco is full of exciting sightseeing
and shopping opportunities! Ride the famous
cable cars, see the barking sea lions and tour the island
of Alcatraz, the most famous prison in the world.

Francisco Singles Weekend Daily Itinerary
Day 1, Wednesday - Arrive
San Francisco - City Tour
Your
weekend begins when you land in San Francisco Airport and take the shuttle to
Union Square and our hotel, The Grand Hyatt San Francisco.
Pampering
amenities and welcoming staff await us at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco, located
on Union Square, San Francisco's #1 most visited neighborhood.
We will meet in the lobby at
5:00 pm for start of our San Francisco vacation, one of
the most beautiful, romantic and popular cities in the world.
Tonight we will head to the waterfront to get a bite to eat (not included)
and get a good spot to see the Fireworks on the Bay. At approximately 9:30pm,
The City of San Francisco will treat spectators to an elaborate fireworks
display over the San Francisco Bay. Day 2, Thursday - Explore San
Francisco  Throughout
this weekend the group visit the famous highlights of San Francisco We will
enjoy 2 days of the Hop-on Hop-off bus around the city with our local guide.
In the next 2 days we will visit Fisherman's Wharf, walk Lombard Street,
the most crooked street in San Francisco, see the Golden Gate Bridge and visit
Golden Gate Park where the De Young Museum, California Academy of Sciences and
the Japanese Tea Garden are located.
We will visit the Haight Ashbury,
home of the Hippie and Beatnik Movement of the 1960s, see City Hall and the
Asian Museum of Art. The Barbary Coast is where Chinatown meets Financial
District, North Beach is Peter and Paul's Church and San Francisco's Little
Italy includes Italian cafes and restaurants.
Tonight we take the trolley to Fisherman's Wharf to explore and grab a bite
to eat like the Dungeness Crab and famous sourdough bread.
Day 3,
Friday - Explore San
Francisco
After an early breakfast we depart for Fisherman's Wharf and board our
ferry to Alcatraz. Step back in time and experience the legendary island that
has been a civil war fort, a military prison and one of the most notorious
federal penitentiaries in US history.
After visiting Alcatraz, let's step aboard turn-of-the-century ships, visit
maritime museum’s exhibits and ship models, and learn traditional seafaring arts
like boat building and woodworking. Embarcadero - Originally
known as the Barbary Coast, the Downtown Waterfront District has a rich history
that dates from the Gold Rush. From April to December 1849, more than 700
vessels steamed through the Golden Gate filled with fortune seekers hoping to
strike it rich. Many of these ships were beached in their berths and converted
to warehouses, offices and saloons, the first commercial enterprises near where
Embarcadero Center now stands.
Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market - With over 100 farmers and 30 artisan vendors
setting up every week, you will find yourself immersed in a cornucopia of the
freshest fruit, produce, baked goods, cheeses and prepared foods in
town. Pier 39 is an
open-air festival marketplace located on San Francisco Bay with two levels of
fun-filled attractions, unique shopping at 110 specialty shops and delightful
dining at one of 14 full-service restaurants.
Walk around Chinatown, the largest Chinatown outside of Asia. Explore the
many interesting sights and sounds. Maybe buy a cheap souvenir or taste some of
the delicacies before continuing on. Day
4, Saturday - Free Day or Optional Tour
Love to
shop, want to visit the wine country then today is your day. Shop till
you drop at Union
Square. Virtually every fashion label in the world has set up shop in and
around Union Square. Granite plazas, a stage, a café and four grand entrance
corner plazas bordered by the park's signature palms, pay tribute to the
Square's distinctive history and offer a forum for civic celebrations.

course you can take a trolley car and continue exploring this wonderful city.
Tonight we will gather for our Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5, Sunday - Depart San
Francisco
After breakfast, as time permits have a final farewell visit to Fisherman's
Wharf. Then check out our hotel 2:00pm and hop on your airport shuttle. Say
your farewells to all your new travel friends as a another great singles weekend
comes to an end.
