Off the Radar Vacations

By: Cassandra Ingraham

Feeling stress, dont have time or the finances for a full pledge vacation?

Try an "Off the Radar Vacation"

Discount your telephone, turn off your computer,  put your cell phone    under a pillow and dont answer the door.  Enjoy the comforts of your own home.  DO NOT look at, listen to, or read the news.   After 3 or 4 days you will experience a renewed level of mental and emotional stamina.

Book yourself into a day spa in a city near yours. Set up a couple of  day trips to explore tourist sights near your hometown. (act like a tourist) or just stay home.  You will be amazed at how well this works.

Dont talk to your neighbors during this off the radar vacation, just wave if you see them and keep going.  If you make any connections with people that you would not see on  a  normal travel vacation it will defeat the purpose of being ff the radar.

Tell your family, friends and co-workers what you will be doing so that they wont call the police because you have disappeared.

You can do this, it will take a little planning, however, all vacations take planning, should this be any different?  The entire goal is to reduce your stress level and think about what you want to do next or where you want to spend your next vacation!
