A Good Cruise Travel Agent Will Ask You the Following Questions:

Its Called Qualifying the Client.  Use the question below to qualify yourself.  If you know what you want more then likely you will get it!                            

Qualifying your wants and needs is the most important step in satisfying your self.  To help you in this important step, we've put together the following list of questions and tips to help you best qualify your self.

1.  "When are you looking to cruise?"  Get a specific date, date range, or season.  Also, find out if they are flexible on the date or date range.

 

2.  "How long of a cruise would you like to do?  3, 4, 5, 7 night or longer?"

 

3.  "How many passengers will be cruising and what are their ages?"  Discounts are available for seniors and children. 

 

4.  "Where are you looking to go?"  Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean (St. Thomas, San Juan, St. Maarten), Western Caribbean (Mexico, Jamaica, Grand Cayman), Southern Caribbean (Barbados, Grenada, Aruba), Alaska, Europe, Panama, Transatlantic, Mediterranean, etc.

 

5.  "Have you been on a cruise before?  If so, how many and on which cruise lines?" 

 

6.  "Are you looking for the most reasonably priced cabin?" 

 

7.  "Are you looking for an inside, outside, balcony, or suite?" 

 

8.  "Are you flexible as to where you can leave from?"  Miami, Port Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale, etc. 

 

9.  "Will you be driving down or making you own arrangements?"  Some clients may want to take advantage of cruise line air transportation.

 

Note:  Cruise Lines reward you greatly for loyalty.  They provide discounts for returning travelers that you would not believe!
