Cruises & Budget Travel
By: Sandy Ingram
OK, lets face it; if you are a budget
traveler, one of your top "keywords" has to be "cruises" No other word in the
vacation vocabulary can provide such enormous benefits for a budget traveler.
If you say "cruise" a budget traveler says,
"(free) gourmet all you can eat food, free entertainment, free party, plenty of
rest, sun tan, all inclusive"
Repeat cruisers understand all too well that
once the cruise is paid for, stress over paying for your vacation decreases.
All that is left to do once the cruise is paid for, is to put aside monies for
the tip (added to your cruise billask your travel agent what the tip amount is
per day), the wine with dinner, alcoholic drinks at the pool, day at the spa,
maybe one or two land tours and mad money for gambling.
That's it! Once the cruise is paid for, your
stress level drops dramatically. This is every budget travelers dream, to know
'exactly' what the travel cost will be.
Of course cruises are romantic, relaxing and
stress free and can be suited for persons traveling alone. You can visit six
ports/destinations (10 day cruise) and only unpack once. You have all the
comforts of a 5 Start Resort, the only difference is, this resort floats. The
mega ships are so large you rarely feel the motion of the ocean.
